Wardell Stephen Curry II, also known as Chef Curry, is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA. The son of former NBA player Dell Curry, Curry first garnered national attention for his impressive play at Davidson College during the NCAA’s March Madness Tournament. In the 2009 NBA draft, he was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 7th overall pick.
The two-time NBA League MVP Curry led the Warriors to four NBA Championships in the years 2014-15, 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2021-22. He was also awarded the Finals MVP in 2022 for his finals performances against the Celtics. In the year 2015-16, he also led them to the best regular-season record in NBA history (73–9).
