Nathan Andrew McSweeney is an Australian professional cricketer born on March 8, 1999, in Brisbane, Queensland. He is primarily an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off-break. He plays for the Australian men’s national cricket team in Test cricket and represents the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League (BBL).

Nathan McSweeney made early strides by being shortlisted into the provisional squad of the Australian Under-19 cricket team at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2018. McSweeney represents South Australia in domestic cricket.

Nathan McSweeney made his domestic debut for his home side Queensland against Tasmania in Brisbane in the Sheffield Shield on October 16, 2018. He scored 35 runs in the first innings and scored 7 in the second.
