Adam Milne Biography
Adam Fraser Milne is a New Zealand cricketer, born on 13 April 1992 at Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand. He is a right-arm fast bowler and plays limited overs international cricket for the New Zealand cricket team.
He has an ability to ball at a speed of 150 km/h and became the sixth fastest bowler in world by delivering the ball at a speed of 153.2 km/h.
Background
Milne’s interest in cricket was evolved right from his school time. He attended Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School, and then Palmerston North Boys' High School.
In 2009, he started his cricket career by joining Central Districts. In May 2017, Milne signed Kent County Cricket Club to play the second half of the 2017 English cricket season.
Debut
Milne impressed everyone by taking a wicket on his second ball in his first-class cricket debut for Central Districts in the 2009-10 season against Canterbury when he was 18 years old.
Soon after, Milne made his ODI debut on 10 November 2012 against Sri Lanka. He was expensive in his debut match but impressed everyone with his pace. He made his international T20 debut on 26 December 2010 against Pakistan.
Club Career
Milne made his first-class debut for Central Districts in the year 2009, where we took the wicket on his second ball.
After joining Kent in 2017, he took a total of 28 wickets in 2017 NatWest T20 Blast for Kent. He set a new record for Kent's best bowling in T20 matches with 5/11 taken against Somerset in August 2017.
