24-year-old Indian cricketer Prashant Hitesh Solanki who has been associated with Chennai Super Kings since 2023 hails from Mumbai and also represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. Prashant has represented both Maharastra and Mumbai teams in his Ranji career. Leggie has played two IPL games for CSK and two Ranji games for two teams.

Prashant Solanki Career

Prashant Solanki’s domestic career is limited to only Ranji games and in both games he has played for two different teams over the gap of two years. He has represented Mumbai and Maharastra both in his domestic career. Prashant started his domestic career with Mumbai but later he moved to the Maharastra team for better opportunities.

Prashant was signed by Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022 auction for INR 1.20 crore but to date, he has played only two games for the franchise and took two wickets in them.


Prashant Solanki Domestic Career

Prashant has played only two Ranji games in his domestic career, he debuted with Mumbai on 24 February 2022 and didn’t get any wickets then he never got any chance to feature in Mumbai’s team. Two years later he moved to the Maharastra team on 19th January 2024 where he got his first and only wicket of his Ranji Career.

Before making his Ranji debut Prashant represented Mumbai in Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali trophies and later on moved to Maharashtra team. In Vijay Hazare Prashant has 26 wickets in 14 games and in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, he has 10 scalps in 11 games.

Prashant was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the 2022 IPL auction for INR 1.20 crore and he managed to make his debut in his maiden season of IPL. On 15 May 2022 Prashnat played his first IPL game against Gujrat Titans where he didn’t get any wickets but conceded only 18 runs in his four-over spell.

Prashant has played the second and last game of his IPL career so far against Rajasthan Royals on 20th May 2022 where he picked two big wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Simron Hetmyer in just two overs. Prashant has played only two IPL games to date and looking for more opportunities in the future.
