Upendra Yadav Domestic Career
Upendra Yadav made his domestic debut for UP against Railways in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2013-14. He had an impressive debut by scoring a cameo of 26 off 14 balls at a strike rate of 185.71.
Yadav made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh against Railways in the Ranji Trophy 2016-17 season under the captaincy of Suresh Raina. He had a debut to forget as he was dismissed for naught and a solitary run in respective innings.
The 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batter made his List-A debut for Uttar Pradesh against Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017-18. He scored his maiden double-ton, against Mumbai in Ranji Trophy 2019-20, which was also the highest score by a number 7 batter against Mumbai in Ranji Trophy history, surpassing the record of R Sudhakar Rao in Ranji Trophy 1981-82.
Yadav also made his way through to India A squad for its tour of South Africa in 2021 as a wicketkeeper-batter.
